The Future Workforce is Choosing Downtown Denver 

Downtown Denver is a magnet for the future workforce, says new research report by the Downtown Denver Partnership.

The Downtown Denver Partnership released a new research report (designed by Zebra Incorporated), Downtown Denver: A Magnet for the Future Workforce, this week at the 2012 Rocky Mountain West Urban Leadership Symposium in Denver. The report details city building efforts—including amenities, transportation infrastructure, educated population, residential growth, innovation and entrepreneurship, and emerging green economy—that make the urban core of the Mile High City an attractive place for a new generation of workers. The report also discusses strengths and opportunities for Downtown Denver.

Southwest Rink at Skyline Park Open for the Season

Zebra helped design and coordinate signage and an info card with hours for the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park. The ice rink sits next to the clock tower on Arapahoe Street. It’s the second year for the rink to offer free skating to the public with the option to bring skates or rent a pair for just $2. 

“We had about 31,000 skaters over the season last year, so we’re so excited about what this year can bring. Just different programming, learn to skate,” Southwest Airlines spokesperson Michelle Agnew said. Read More >
